Our story
Twenty-four jars on a bookshelf
The first proper batch was poured on a kitchen table over a weekend and cured on a bookshelf, because there was nowhere else to put them. Half of them tunnelled. The wicks were too small for the jar, which is the mistake almost everyone makes at the start.
Why we pour
Scent for the room you live in
It began with the scents, not the jar. Most of what was available fell into two camps: cheap and overpowering, or beautifully packaged and oddly faint. We wanted something you could burn on a Tuesday without feeling you were using it up too fast.
We are a small studio. Every candle is poured, cured, wicked and labelled in-house — not outsourced, not rushed. Batch size stays small on purpose, which is slower and the reason a scent occasionally sells out before the next pour is ready.

From pour to label
Everything is still made in-house — wicked and labelled by hand once the cure is done. The workspace grew; the process did not.
